1. Overview

Markey is an AI-powered marketing content generation platform built for lawful, business-appropriate use. This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes the content and conduct that is not permitted on Markey. It supplements — and is incorporated by reference into — our Terms of Service and Fair Use Policy. By using Markey, you agree to comply with this AUP.

Violating this policy may result in your prompts being blocked, your account being suspended or permanently terminated without refund, and — where required by law — your activity being reported to law enforcement or other authorities.

2. Zero-Tolerance: Sexual & Adult Content

Markey does not permit the generation, storage, distribution, or promotion of NSFW, sexually explicit, sexually suggestive, or pornographic content of any kind. This applies to text, images, audio, and video, and applies whether the subject is real or fictional, photographic or illustrated, human or non-human.

Specifically prohibited:

  • Nudity, partial nudity, or sexual activity
  • Sexually suggestive poses, framing, clothing, or copy intended to arouse
  • Erotic fiction, sexting copy, or fetish content
  • Sexualized depictions of any kind involving minors (real or AI-generated). This is a hard prohibition — we report suspected CSAM to the appropriate authorities, including NCMEC where applicable.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, "revenge porn," or any sexual depiction of an identifiable real person without their documented, verifiable consent
  • Marketing for pornography, adult video sites, escort services, adult dating, "OnlyFans"-style platforms, sex toys marketed in an explicit way, or any product whose primary purpose is sexual gratification

Markey does notoffer an "uncensored," "no-filter," "NSFW," "18+," or "unfiltered" mode. You may not represent, advertise, or imply that Markey provides such a mode, and you may not use Markey to produce marketing copy that promotes other services using those terms.

3. Identity, Likeness, and Deepfakes

You may not use Markey to:

  • Generate face-swap, deepfake, or face/voice-manipulation content of real people without their explicit, documented consent
  • Impersonate another person, brand, public figure, or organization in a deceptive manner
  • Create fake testimonials, fake reviews, fabricated endorsements, or content that misrepresents who is speaking

4. Hate, Harassment, and Violence

You may not use Markey to generate or distribute:

  • Content that attacks, threatens, dehumanizes, or incites violence against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristic
  • Targeted harassment, doxxing, or coordinated abuse of individuals
  • Content that promotes, glorifies, or recruits for terrorist organizations, violent extremist groups, or organized criminal enterprises
  • Glorification of self-harm or suicide, or instructional content encouraging self-harm
  • Gratuitously graphic depictions of violence, gore, or torture

5. Prohibited Products and Industries

You may not use Markey to generate marketing content, advertisements, landing pages, social posts, or other promotional material for:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances
  • Weapons, ammunition, weapon accessories, or 3D-printed firearms
  • Tobacco, vaping, e-cigarettes, or nicotine products marketed to minors
  • Counterfeit, replica, or knock-off goods
  • Spyware, stalkerware, or covert surveillance tools
  • IPTV piracy or pirated digital content services
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, or matrix schemes
  • Essay mills, homework-for-hire, or academic-fraud services
  • Unlicensed gambling, sports-betting, or lottery services
  • Unlicensed financial services — including lending, debt collection, investment advice, and money transmission
  • Unlicensed legal, real-estate, or medical services
  • NFT, token, or crypto "pump" schemes, rug-pulls, or get-rich-quick promotions
  • Timeshares and high-pressure timeshare-style sales
  • Any product or service prohibited by our payment processor (Creem) or by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the content will be used

6. Fraud, Deception, and Manipulation

You may not use Markey to:

  • Phish, scam, or otherwise defraud users
  • Make unsubstantiated medical, health, financial, or legal claims
  • Generate fake reviews, fake testimonials, fabricated press quotes, or inflated metrics
  • Mislead consumers about the nature, origin, sponsorship, or effectiveness of a product or service
  • Create disinformation campaigns, election interference content, or coordinated inauthentic behavior

7. Security and Platform Integrity

You may not:

  • Generate malware, ransomware, exploit code, phishing kits, or other malicious software
  • Generate content that promotes or facilitates unauthorized access to systems, networks, or accounts
  • Attempt to bypass, jailbreak, disable, or interfere with our moderation, safety, or rate-limit systems
  • Use prompt injection, indirect prompts, encoded prompts, or any other technique to coerce the Service into producing prohibited content
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the underlying models, prompts, or training data

8. Intellectual Property and Privacy

You are responsible for ensuring that the URLs, brand assets, product information, and reference material you submit to Markey are owned by you or used with the rights-holder's permission. You may not use Markey to:

  • Infringe third-party copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, patents, or trade secrets
  • Generate content that violates a person's right of publicity or privacy
  • Process personal data in ways that violate applicable privacy law (GDPR, CCPA, and similar)

9. How We Enforce This Policy

Automated moderation. Prompts and outputs are screened against this AUP using automated moderation systems (including the Creem Moderation API for visual generation, where applicable). When a prompt is denied or flagged, generation is blocked.

Fail-closed. If our moderation systems are unavailable, generation is blocked rather than allowed to proceed unscreened.

Human review. We may review prompts and outputs to investigate suspected violations, respond to abuse reports, or improve safety systems.

Consequences. Depending on severity, violations can result in: a warning, throttling, prompt-level blocking, temporary suspension, or permanent account termination without refund. Repeated or egregious violations — including any attempt to generate sexual content involving minors — result in immediate termination and, where required, a report to law enforcement.

10. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content generated using Markey that violates this policy, or you believe an account is being used in violation of this policy, please email [email protected] with as much detail as you can share. We review every report.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP as the platform evolves and as legal, regulatory, or payment-processor requirements change. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. The current version is always available at this URL.
